Demolition begins in Carlsbad to build CVS

Demolition continues in Carlsbad to make way for a new pharmacy.

The work towards building a CVS at Canal and Church streets includes demolishing several houses in that area.

The process dates back over a year, when the city council approved zoning changes.

A representative from the company performing the demolition tells the Current Argus that this part of the project may take two or three weeks.

Meanwhile, a representative from the company actually building CVS tells the paper that no one has set a start date for construction.
