Investigation into Dexter police chief over, DA’s office has findings

State police have finished investigating Dexter’s police chief.

They have forwarded their findings to the district attorney.

Several residents say Mario Contreras has sexually harassed women all over town.

The speculation has prompted the mayor to put Contreras on administrative leave during the investigation.

KRQE-TV reports it remains unclear how long it takes the district attorney’s office to review the findings.
