Carlsbad Police are questioning a person of interest in connection with an armed robbery at a convenience store. It happened Sunday morning at Allsup’s. Police say two clerks reported that a man walked into the store, armed with a handgun and demanded cash. He got what he wanted and fled. No one was hurt. The Current-Argus reports Sunday’s robbery is the second time the store has been targeted in the last several weeks. In July, an armed man tried to rob the store, but left empty-handed.
