THE CITY OF ROSWELL PLANS TO OPEN A NEW PLAYGROUND LATER THIS WEEK AT JOHN W HALL PARK NEXT TO THE ROSWELL ADULT AND RECREATION CENTER. THE PLAYGROUND FEATURES NEW EQUIPMENT, SWINGS, SLIDES AND OTHER ACTIVITIES. THE SITE PREVIOUSLY HAD PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT ON IT,K BUT MUCH OF IT HAD TO BE REMOVED BECAUSE IT WAS IN DISREPAIR AND PRESENTED A SAFETY HAZZARD. A RIBBON-CUTTING CEREMONY FOR THE NEW PLAYGROUND IS PLANNED FOR FRIDAY AFTERNOON AT 3-30.
