Clovis Community to Hold Candlelight Vigil Tonight

HUNDREDS ARE EXPECTED IN CLOVIS TONIGHT FOR A COMMUNITY CANDLELIGHT VIGIL IN FRONT OF THE CLOVIS CARVER LIBRARY WHERE A 15-YEAR-OLD HIGH SCHOOL SOPHOMORE OPENED FIRE THIS WEEK ON SIX PEOPLE…KILLING TWO WOMEN. THE COMMUNITY HAS BEEN REELING AND LAST NIGHT, CLOVIS POLICE WERE CALLED TO THE LIBRARY BECAUSE OF REPORTS OF A MAN WITH A GUN. IT TURNED OUT TO BE A FALSE ALARM. MINUTES LATER POLICE RECEIVED SEVERAL MORE FALSE REPORTS OF BOMB THREATS AT BUSINESSES. POLICE SAY THEY HAVE IDENTIFIED SUSPECTS AND ARRESTS ARE EXPECTED. TONIGHT’S VIGIL IN FRONT OF THE LIBRARY STARTS AT 7-30.
