Waller Retires From Carlsbad PD

The Carlsbad Police Chief, Kent Waller, has retired. Waller spent more than 40 years with the Carlsbad Police Department. Waller was joined by many members of the staff and others in emergency work who honored him Wednesday at the Pecos River Village Conference Center. Carlsbad Mayor Dale Janway said there just aren’t words to adequately express how much appreciation the city has for Chief Waller and all he’s done. Waller was also elected Eddy County Sheriff in 2001, serving two terms.
