Crooked Creek Fire Grows To 6,000 Acres

However, high winds on Saturday kept crews from being able to make better progress. Fire crews have also been unable to contruct a direct fire line due to the rugged terrain. Stage Two fire restrictions are ordered for the SMokey Bear and Sacramento Ranger Districts. Stage One fire restrictions are in place for the Guadalupe Ranger District.
