THERE ARE NINE PUBLIC MEETINGS PLANNED BETWEEN SEPTEMBER 17th AND THE 27th WHERE BLM WILL PROVIDE INFORMATION AND ANSWER QUESTIONS RELATED TO THE CARLSBAD DRAFT RESOURCES MANAGEMENT PLAN AND ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENTS. IT’S PART OF AN ONGOING 90-DAY PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD THAT BEGAN AUGUST 3rd. ON THE MORNING OF TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 18th, THE BUREAU WILL HOST A MEETING IN ARTESIA AT THE CENTRAL VALLEY ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE OFFICE. THAT AFTERNOON, THEY’RE HOLDING ANOTHER MEETING AT THE HOLLIDAY INN IN ROSWELL.
