Heavy Fog Blamed For Tragic Crash Near Roswell

Heavy fog is being blamed for a tragic crash that left two people dead. According to a New Mexico State Polcie report, the limited visibility caused the crash on US 285 south of Roswell on Friday morning. The statement says that a 2000 Chevy S10 pickup was headed east on Ken Road approaching the stop sign at the highway. That vehicle was driven by Crystal Sanchez, of Dexter. Sanchex attempted to cross the highway and was struck by a southbound semi. Sanchez and her 1 year old child passenger were killed.
