36-YEAR-OLD NATHAN OWENS WILL SPEND 100 MONTHS IN PRISON FOLLOWED BY A PERIOD OF SUPERVISED RELEASE. HIS PRIOR CRIMINAL HISTORY INCLUDES FELONY CONVICTIONS OF FALSE IMPRISONMENT, AGGRAVATED BATTERY, EVIDENCE TAMPERING AND DRUG CHARGES. OWENS WAS ARRESTED BACK IN APRIL AFTER ROSWELL POLICE RESPONDED TO A DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE CALL AT A CELL PHONE STORE. THE VICTIM IN THE CASE SAID OWENS THREATENED HER WITH A GUN AND TOOK HER CAR. AT THE TIME OF HIS ARREST, HE HAD BEEN OUT OF PRISON LESS THAN A YEAR.
