Company Due To Open New Carlsbad Hotel In July

The now-vacant former Post Time Saloon in Carlsbad is set to be transformed into a new extended stay hotel, hopefully helping to alleviate the housing shortage. A company called Critical Applications Alliance, which was hired to build Occidental Petroleum’s transloading facility in Loving – has purchased the old saloon and has been renovating it to become what it calls an upscale hotel. The Current Arguis reports the new hotel is due to open in July, with 40 rooms.
