IT HAPPENED AROUND NOON ON DECEMBER 30th AT THE INTERSECTION OF SOUTH VIRGINIA AVENUE AND EAST SUMMIT STREET. INVESTIGATORS WITH THE ROSWELL POLICE DEPARTMENT TRAFFIC DIVISION SAY A BLACK 2000 RANGE ROVER SUV CAUSED THE CRASH WITH TWO OTHER VEHICLES AND THEN FLED THE SCENE. THE VEHICLE LIKELY HAS FRONT END DAMAGE AND MAY BE MISSING ITS GRILL. THE SUV HAD A SOUTH DAKOTA LICENSE PLATE WITH THE NUMBER 19C 464 AND MAY BELONG TO 48-YEAR-OLD DOUGLAS POWERS.
