Eddy County Public Works in partnership with Occidental Petroleum (Oxy), is scheduled to begin work on McDonald Road in Eddy County on Wednesday, April 14, 2021
McDonald Road will be closed to through traffic at the Black River Crossing ending approximately two miles north.
Advanced warning signs will be placed advising motorists of the closure. Motorists should expect travel delays during construction and are encouraged to seek alternate routes of travel during construction. The public’s cooperation and observance of all construction signs will be greatly appreciated to help ensure the safety of the traveling public and the construction crews.
It is anticipated that construction should be completed within three days.
Work hours will be from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Wednesday 4/14/2021 through Friday 4/16/2021.
