Artesia Couple Arrested For Bank Robbery

A man and woman in Artesia are now facing federal charges for robbing a bank. A statement by the US Justice Department says 39 year-old Roman Andrew Poulsen and 40 year-old Lori Crape, believed to be Poulsen’s girlfriend, held up the Washington Federal Bank in Artesia on July 15th. The statement says the Poulsen will be charged with bank robbery, while Crape will be charged with the lesser crime of being an accessory after the fact. A detention hearing is scheduled for Thursday. As of now, both P=oulsen and Crape remain in the Eddy COunty Jail.
