The Eddy County Commissioners are asking for public input as they decide on a final route for Carrasco Road. The road is projected to connect two major highways south of Carlsbad. Six routes have been proposed duiring a series of meetings last year. Commissioners are trying to narrow that list down. The estimated total cost of the project is somewhere around 25 million dollars.
