Eddy County Sheriff Mark Cage will be offering active shooter training for the public, at no cost, through a program called Operation Hard Target. The first training session will be on Saturday, July 30th from 1-5 p.m. After that, the training will be offered twice per month. Seating is limited and registration is required. Businesses, Faith Groups, Schools, Civic Organizations, and groups of 15 or more, can submit a Training Request Form to schedule a group training. To register, call the sheriff’s office.
