Roswell Faces Growing Illegal Dumping Problem

Illegal dumping is becoming a bigger problem in Roswell, with some neighborhoods and open lots attracting everything from household garbage to construction debris. City officials are unsure what is causing the spike in illegal dump sites but urge residents to take the initiative on cleanup efforts, saying cleanliness usually leads to safety. Roswell’s waste services says the city produces about 1,800 tons of garbage each day and asks citizens to call for bulk item pickups and to report illegal dump sites immediately.
