Roswell man pleads guilty in drug trafficking case

A Roswell man has pleaded guilty to trying to sell meth, heroin, and cocaine in Chaves County.

The DOJ says authorities arrested 28-year-old Javier Madrid in November.

This followed an earlier search of his home and car.

Officials found drugs, ammunition, and nearly $4,000 in cash.

Because of his felony conviction for narcotics trafficking, Madrid could not own any weapons or ammunition.
