Several City of Roswell facilities will be expanding the hours they are open to the public as the city works to increase the opportunities people have to enjoy its services and amenities. The Roswell Recreation and Aquatic Center (1402 W. College Blvd.) will open its outdoor pool Saturday, May 22. It will be open Saturday and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m., for the next two weekends and then will expand its hours June 7, when it will be open seven days a week, noon to 6 p.m. The indoor pool will be open for lap swimming only (Monday-Friday, 6-9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.-noon; Saturday, 10 a.m.-noon). Outdoor and indoor pool hours are subject to change based on staffing availability.
The “recreation” side (non-aquatic activities) of the center will be staying open later in the evening beginning June 7. The expanded hours will be Monday through Friday 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday noon to 8 p.m.
