Eddy County Sheriff Mark Cage is reporting deputies are investigating a stabbing near Loving. On Thursday, deputies responded to the report that a man has been stabbed and was unconscious and bleeding profusely. 48 year-old Jorge Trevizo, of El Paso, Texas, was discovered wounded. He was taken to Carlsbad Medical Center, where he later died of his injuries. The suspect, 43 year-old Jon Bowels Williams, of Loving, was arrested and charged with murder and tampering with evidence. Anyone with information about either man is being urged to call 575-887-7551.
