The Artesia Police Department is congratulating several officers upon their promotions. The officers have gone through a rigorous assessment and were selected by the points they accumulated throughout their entire testing process. Chantel Longway has been promoted to commander of patrol, while Jeff Letcher is promoted to commander of criminal investigation. David Bailey, Beth Hahn, and Xavier Anaya have been promoted to patrol sergeants.
