For two weeks after Christmas (Dec. 27-Jan. 8), the Roswell Municipal Landfill will allow Roswell residents to dispose of Christmas trees at no cost as long as the trees are not mixed with other trash (trees with tinsel must have only a minimal amount). The trees must be dropped off at the landfill (3006 W. Brasher Road) separately from other trash. The usual tipping fee charges will apply to any trees that are mixed with other trash. The trees will be turned into mulch and added to the landfill’s mulch supply, which is offered to the public for free.
