A new proposed ordinance in Carlsbad is targeting underage drinking of alcohol. If passed, the ordinance would those that provide alcohol to minors responsible. The Carlsbad Community Anti-Drug/Gang COalition is pushing the proposed Social Host Ordinance. That was the topic of discussion at a recent roundtable with city officials and Carlsbad Police. The ordinance has been largely formed after Farmington’s disorderly house or social host ordinance that was created last year.
