The Eddy County SHeriff’s Violent Crime Suppression Unit conducted a one-day operation targeting known violent suspects. During the effort, Sheriff Mark Cage says deputies focused on the Carlsbad area and made seven state warrant arrests, one federal warrant arrest, and two people were charged with multiple felony crimes.
