Eddy County authorities are investigating the discovery of possible explosive devices being made at a home near Artesia. A statement from Sheriff Marek Cage says deputies responded Saturday to a home in the 400 block of 42nd Street. Nearby residents were evacuated from their homes as a precaution. A search warrant was executed and Cage says evidence of Improvised Explosive Device manufacturing was removed from the home. However, the statement does not say that anyone was arrested.
