A man accused of killing his girlfriend in Roswell in January of 2020 has been captured in Mexico and returned to the US. A statement from RPD says Jorge Ernesto Rico-Ruvira fled to Mexico with the couple’s son after he killed 27 year old Isela Mauricio-Sanchez, whose body was found in a bedroom of her home on East Forest Street. A family member discovered the woman’s body after not being able to reach her for several days. The child was also located and is now safe with family members in Roswell.
