Xcel Energy crews will be at work during Artesia’s spring break, March 21-25, replacing poles and stringing new and upgraded wire on power lines in the vicinity of Artesia High School and Bulldog Bowl. The line projects are part of a $1.1 million grid improvement project announced last year that is improving the reliability and capacity of the power lines and substations serving the city.
