With spring now in full swing, the Artesia Police Department says it will continue to accomplish items such as special assignments, concentrated patrols and sobriety check points during the month of April. They’re asking for the motoring public to make good decisions even before climbing behind the wheel of an automobile. APD will concentrate on crimes such as DWI, open container, seat belt violations, and texting while driving.
