North Atkinson Avenue between East Second Street and East College Boulevard is scheduled to reopen to traffic today, following the completion of the first phase of a major street improvement project. The second and third phases will take place at a later date once the contractor receives materials.
Also, on Tuesday, North Garden Avenue between East Fifth Street and East College Boulevard will close to traffic as crews repair a large water line that has been leaking. That work is expected to take at least two weeks.
