A man has been arrested for the shooting of a teenager last week in the 1300 block of Adams Avenue in southwest Roswell. Juan M. Silvas is charged with aggravated battery, along with child abuse. Police had executed search warrants at several addresses and discovered Silvas at one of them trying to flee out a back window of a home, according to RPD Spokesperson Todd Wildermuth. Wildermuth said investigators determined the teen victim and Silvas had been in an argument over a threat Silvas made against a woman Tuesday night.
