The Roswell Police Department is investigating a shooting homicide that occurred shortly before 4 a.m. Friday morning in the 600 block of South Missouri Avenue. The victim has been identified as Robert Smiley, 36, of Roswell. Emergency responders found him deceased inside a travel trailer on a residential property. He had at least one gunshot wound. RPD is currently working to identify the shooter. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call RPD at 575-624-6770.
