The Artesia Public Library is spreading the word that September is National Library Card Sign Up Month. The local ibrary is joining the American Library Association to celebrate the event by encouraging anyone without a library card to get one. All you need to sign up for a library card is a picture ID and proof of your current mailing address. Kids under 18 do need a parent or guardian present at sign up.
