The Carlsbad Life House is planningto host a fundraiser for its mental health and substance abuse services after expanding this year to become a leader in the region for such services. Lifehouse is currently located at 1900 Westridge and provides up to 30 days of intensive residential treatment options. Lifehouse will soon be opening a sober living home in Artesia alongside another service called The Bridge – at 808 West Grand Street. An open house is planned for this Thursday from 4 to 6pm. The annual fundraiser event for Lifehouse is planned for the evening of Saturday, Nov. 5 at the Balzano Family Vineyard and Pumpkin Patch.
