The NMMI STEM club recently won 4th place at the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), Plant Sciences category in Dallas, Texas. They won a cash prize of $500, competing against 50 different projects globally. There were 21 different Categories with more than 1300 participants from all over the world. NMMI had two teams—one in the environment and engineering category and one in the plant science category. This is a significant win for the STEM club at this very prestigious international event. The kids are fired up and want a first place next year.
