Work has begun on Main Street in Artesia. You may have noticed that the Sallie Chisum bronze has been tarped off. The Sallie Chisum bronze piece needs a complete re-patina. Work will entail a tented off workspace to protect motorists and pedestrians from sandblasting. Once sandblasting is completed, a new patina will be applied. Work is being completed by Tim Rybicki, owner of Samurai Monument Services.
