Portions of the walking trail at Cielo Grande Recreation Area will be closed at various times during the next approximately four months while the installation of a new water line takes
place. The work is scheduled to begin Monday, June 26, and is expected to conclude in mid-October. The project will be done in phases, beginning at the Montana Avenue trail connection and progressing to the northwest before continuing to follow the trail to the southwest corner of the sports complex. People may continue to use portions of the trail that are open, but are asked to avoid the work zones.
