The New Mexico Attorney General’s Office has filed an action on behalf of consumers impacted by the unexpected closure of New Mexico Solar Group which has operated in communities across the state since 2015. Among other issues, the Attorney General’s Office is primarily concerned with assisting in the recovery of monies paid by customers for services that were never completed before the business’s decision to fold. In addition to the action against New Mexico Solar Group, the office also confirmed that investigations have been opened on Meraki Solar and Titan Solar after the office received a significant number of consumers complaints alleging unfair and deceptive business practices.
