Two motorcyclists killed in a tragic crash along US Highway 62/180 on Saturday in Eddy County. A third motorcyclist survived the ordeal after being flown to a nearby hospital. The accident happened near Potash Mines Road when three men driving separate bikes were headed eastbound. For some reason, two of them lost control and laid their bikes down, sliding and falling off the pavement, colliding with the center median. Felipe De Jesus Fuentes Junior and Joe Michael Flores, both of Hobbs, were killed. 50 year old Domingo Avbila, also of Hobbs, is recovering in a Hobbs hospital today.
