A judge has formally granted permission to attend in-person university classes – to the teenager accused of disposing of her newborn infant in a hospital trash can in Artesia. Alexee Trevizo appeared at the court hearing via Zoom, addressing several motions that were filed in her murder case. Trevizon contends that the child was stillborn, but prosecutors say the autopsy of the infant shows otherwise. The judge ruled that Trevizo could attend classes at New Mexico State Univertsity in Las Cruces – without violating her bond conditions of no contact with the father of the child.
