The Artesia Bulldogs have advanced to the state 5A football championship title game after a 50-to-nothing domination of Piedra Vista on Saturday. The Bulldogs are the #2 seed in the playoffs. Senior quarterback Nye Estrada got things started early, with a 44 yeard touchdown pass to Ethan Conn on the 4th play of the game. The victory means the Bulldogs will play the top seeded Roswell Coyotes, who shut out Deming on Saturday 45-to-nothing.
