The Artesia Daily Press is reporting that EOG Resources is closing it’s Artesia office. Several employees confirmed the closure on Friday. 55 employees will reportedly be affected. Later, EOG issued a statement that said it was consolidating it’s Artesia and Midland, Texas, offices into one division, which will be located in Midland. the statement from the company says about hald of the employees are expected to retire, while the other half will be offered a chance to relocate to other EOG offices. The company did not give a reason for the Artesia office closure.
