The New Mexico Department of Transportation District Two office in cooperation with Constructors Inc. (Contractor) will begin roadway reconstruction on Thursday, February 29, 2024, for US 285 at both intersections of Hobson Road (south of Roswell). The hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Estimated completion is approximately 60 working days, weather permitting.
Drivers can expect the east intersection of US 285 and Hobson Road to be closed with detours set up for access throughout the duration of the project and working hours. Work will be conducted in phases and begin at the east entrance of Hobson Rd. and continue at the west entrance.
