Roswell Police are investigating a deadly crash from Wednesday night. Investigators determined 53 year old Jimmy James Galvan, of Roswell, was crossing South Sunset Avenue near West Hobbs Street when he was struck by a car headed north in the inside lane of South Sunset. Galvan died of his injuries at a local hospital. Meanwhile, the 29 year old driver of the car and a 23 year old passenger – were not hurt. The unnamed driver told police he never saw Galvan, who was wearing dark-colored clothing in an unlit area, according to RPD.
