Roswell Police and New Mexico State Police have been working together on recent operations targeting retail theft and shoplifting. The efforts resulted in criminal charges against 65 people, according to a statement provided by Roswell Police.
The operations were conducted over nine randomly selected days from November to March in cooperation with loss prevention teams from Walmart, Target, Home Depot and Marshalls stores. 13 people were also phisically arrested.
