The Daily Press is reporting that Lara Conklin has been selected to lead Artesia MainStreet. Conklin, an Artesia native, is retirning to her homeotnw from Lubbock, Texas, where she has lived the past 15 years. Cinklin replaces Morgan Fox, who resigned to take a legislative aide position with State Senator Jim Townsend and State Rep. Jon Henry, who is also Artesia mayor.
