The Artesia Bulldogs football program is already hard at work trying to reclaim the state title after falling just short last year to rival Roswell. This year’s team has plenty of experience, with 40 seniors. The journey starts rough, though, with the Bulldogs opening the season against three straight 6A opponents. First game on the road at Carlsbad is on August 22nd.
