The United Way of Eddy County’s Eighth Annual Day of Caring will be held on Sept. 18, 2025. Local businesses and industry partners will again pick up a paint brush, shovel or gloves and make a difference by assisting an area nonprofit with a wide variety of projects. This year’s event is being sponsored by Mewbourne Oil Company. P&R Enterprises is sponsoring the event hats, while Carlsbad Medical Center and Artesia General Hospital are generously providing meals. ConocoPhillips is assisting with PPE, and the Boys & Girls Club of Carlsbad is hosting the kickoff in Carlsbad. Artesia General Hospital is also hosting the Artesia kickoff.
