The Eddy County Commissioners have chosen October 5th and the date for a public hearing on regulations for recreational pot sales in unincorporated areas of the county. The county’s planning and development agency has now apprpoved drafts of the cannabis licensing ordinance, according to a memo from Community Services Director Steve McCroskey. Right now, the draft calls for cannabis retailers to be allowed to operate from 7am to 2am Mondays through Saturdays and noon to midnight on Sundays.
