We begin today ont he crime beat in Artesia, where poclie are investigating a murder case. A woman was reportedly found dead at the Legacy Inn and Suites at 2210 West Main Street Thursday morning. At last check, two other women were actively being sought for questioning. The victim, according to the state medical investigator, was 40 year old Ginger Acosta. Employees of the business found Acosta unresponsive in a room. Meanwhil, APD said it was still looking for 31 year old Kyla Salmon and 29 year old Crystal Montoya in relation to this case. The pair was not identified as suspects and police said they have not established a motive for the crime yet.
