Get ready for the Eddy County Fair. The fair parade is scheduled for 4pm on Tuesday. The official opening will follow. Wednesday activities include a rabbit, horse, flower and pig show. On Thursday, it’s the sheep and meat goat show. Thursday is also Faith and Family Night, which is free thanks to Artesia Baptist Church. On Friday, the poultry, heifer and market cattle show, along with the pecan contest. Bull Riding starts at 7:30 Friday night at the arena. Then Aaron Watson headlines the grandstand at 9:30 Friday night.
